JK2006 For once we disagree Hedda - I think the Brexiteer media is well aware of Boris' cunning plan and is busily ramping up the "wot a disaster No Deal will be" so they can support his "adapted" deal in a few weeks time, force it through the Commons and we get stuck with Brexit and a worse situation even than No Deal.
hedda I can see what's happening...it's dawning on the media who have promoted Brexit that a major calamity is about to happen from which will come years of grief for all involved.

They're now writing themselves out of the story.

# Except the pro-Remain newspaper The Independent which is owned by ..Russians!
JK2006 As everyone knows there will not be No Deal, isn't this the Times supporting Boris for when he brings an "adapted" deal to the Commons? Like the Mail, dread for No Deal helps their goals (for some reason) of a managed Brexit. Are the public really so stupid as not to see through this? I think everyone will back an "adapted" deal - as long as we have a Confirmatory Referendum. That's what worries Johnson and Gove. But what worries me is the media which really thinks the public are falling for this and, worse, that the public will be fooled to.
