I see the film has topped the Box Office in America beating Brad Pitt and Stallone. It really is a delightful movie with some cracking good lines in it.

Ms Smith has been acting now for nearly 70 years, despite bad health in latter years.
Recent movies include this one, the Harry Potter movie and the Lady in the Van - having starred in the stage version.
Her range is immense, her talent huge - but her determination to continue acting is simply amazing.
Bearing in mind the age and indifferent health - of this highly accomplished Essex girl.

Reviewers said if you liked the TV series you'll like the film but if you didn't it's only average. So I can't really judge. I loved the
series and love the film. Maggie Smith and Penelope Wilton steal the movie with some fabulous lines; David Haig and Imelda Staunton (both National Treasures) are additional, new joys. Fantastic camerawork and sets. I adored every minute.
