Not a child.

Even if she came out singing..."Tommorow Tommorow I love ya Tommorow!"....it would still not make her any younger than she is.

Anyone using a computer to show her support is also a hypocrite.

Computer manufacture and everything connected to the industry contribute to the very thing she moans about.

Getting vunrable children (ACTUAL children) worldwide to mass panic and cry with her rubbish talk is hardly something worthy of praise is it?

When I was a young man, I remember reading the world would be be freezing over by late 1980s.

wyot I suspect all those aspects and more Jo. People need to understand more that how we react to others/the outside world says far more about us than the object we are reacting to.

If they really got this and how exposed they look to some eyes they may pause with much of the unpleasantness...

There is no such thing as "Greta" or to link to another on-going thread here, "Stephen Fry".

There are words, pictures and emotions that our own minds conjur in response to our notion of "Greta" and "Stephen".

Sometimes we aggrandise these sensations by calling them "ideas" and knight them with a possessive pronoun. Then boldly defend the citadel of "my ideas" looking around hungrily for parallels (our minds idea of one anyway...) and dismissing what doesn't fit...And so it goes around...

Like Blue Boy in the "Fry" post I would enjoy a more measured debate on here as it does seem increasingly lost to individual polemic....

No it's because she reads off a script. At her age I was working full time, trying to avoid getting bombed. Then when I was 18 or so I got a job in in New York doing 50 hours a week, earning a living
