wyot Sounds dreadful Hedda; destination UK?
hedda NSW has always been a corrupt colony although Melbourne recently gave it a run for it;'s money with the 30 drug gang related murders with the police infested by the dreaded Italian Ndrangheta hence a non-complaint investigation by Victorian police into George Pell and voila..a "victim" comers forward and Pell's re-organization of Vatican finances (or attempt to rid The Vatican on Ndrangheta involvement is stopped dead..developing story)

This recent Police Minister brought in super tough bail laws making it extremely difficult for even those accused of minor crimes to get bail (especially Indigenous youth) but his dad who is accused of DUI Hit and Run deathgot bail even though he fled from the cops. He is also a former cop.

## there was NSW Premier Sir Robert Askin who ruled the roost and railed against illegal gambling casinos but spent several nights each week ganbling at his favoured illegal casino the 33 Club (now a gay bar !)
