Barney Oprah and Clooney - et all - get invited to royal weddings, even though those being married have never met them.

Maybe once or twice.

Certainly though, not in their circle of friends. When did Eugenie (or Harry) meet O or C? - any gatherings never made the news!

Even Meghan - an ex-TV actress - wasn't in their set; her Suits episodes were mostly done in Canada; their famous guests perform/work, mainly in the US.


Sadly our royals still like to be seen to have high profile acquaintances - just like our former King - Edward, who loved Germany...
