All of the funerals I have been to there are only a few who cry.
Most don't.
Many will in private though, I expect.
People grieve in different ways. Some choose to be positive in remembering a person via music or something that relates to their existence or fond memories.
I take the view that death isn't the end.
I didn't believe in ghosts, spirits and presence etc...
I do now as I have seen and experienced a lot.
I have an Omen sign. I can't tell anybody what it is. When it appears, something major happens.
I seen it twice recently.
Why cant you tell anyone? I would be interested to hear about your omen sign.
I have this thing where I "smell" death beforehand, even when there is no warning.
I assume I must be unconsciously picking up signs and my brain translates it into the smell. |

The thing is that most funerals (thankfully) aren't for people who've been murdered. When someone close to the victims behaves as if they aren't really grieving I think that should be paid attention to, though obviously not proof in itself that they're a murderer. |

I don't think it is unusual for people to either not show emotion (and sometimes fake it) or behave inappropriately, even when the deceased is much loved and missed.
Grief and shock do strange things to the mind, and it sometimes hits us much later.
true..I've seen people react at funerals in odd ways..always recall being at the funeral of a journalist some decades ago..I and others had all caught the same train to the country and had a few drinks on the way.
One laughed quite loudly as his coffin slid into the crematorium thing,,and then burst into tears.
## I remember being at a funeral for my uncle and a couple of his old war pals were there...as the Vicar was giving his talk about Uncle going to Heaven someone's mobile phone rang and one of the Old Soldier's said "oh he's there already and calling to let us know" while the other chortled away.
( both kicked their own buckets within the year) |
