Mart I`ve only made soda bread once. I`m unsure about bothering to use yeast in bread, we tend to eat it flat anyway.

For all "goat food post" watchers, don`t seek it out, it does not freeze well, it`s disgusting after chilling/preserving.

My brother in law is over from the states currently and he says he has had horse meat once, and my kitchen smells of it.

Adventurous, but we concuor to avoid in future.
Once was enough.

Put the goat back into the freezer....
steveimp My wife is yeast intolerant which means she spends a lot of time making rather lovely Soda Bread which is so much nicer than ordinary bread!
Mart Her Aunty had told me she had this little habit from being a young girl and I had got used to little bits of raw steak, onion and even liver vanishing from my preperation surface.

However, nothing had prepared her very strong constitution for raw unrisen bread.
I have no sympathy and I feel a scene from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory will play itself out in the kitchen at any time this morning!
Raw yeast?
Bad move!
