My last post has nothing to do with the media
It just quotes facts - and easily verifiable ones
During 2009, when I lived in NYC, panic buying was common
Because of the Spanish 'flu similarities - a vaccine was quickly produced

I'll bet you Barney within a year they will have a CoronaVirus vaccine.
You really MUST stop believing the stupid media.
"UK deaths double" - from 1 to 2. "People in their 70s & 80s are most vulnerable"? Tell me about it. The Grim Reaper lives next door.

I can't remember this mad panic happening with 'flu
Eleven years ago, Swine 'flu killed between 200,000 to 600,000 people - with 10/20% of the world's population infected.
A hundred years ago, Spanish 'flu was much worse. The level of deaths has never been quantified; but it's thought to run into the millions.
Both were caused by the same virus - H1N1. So far, the Coranavirus hasn't been identified, making the creation of potent vaccines virtually impossible.

I thought this should go onto the Tipsheet Forum but these days it's more film than music - I became the star of the convention last year with my Who Let The Dogs Out appearance! To my surprise & astonishment.
Another CoronaVirus victim. I can't remember this mad panic happening with 'flu. But humanity has gone bonkers so no surprise. Will Eurovision 2020 still happen? I hope so - I'm due to attend. |
