Barney The two day hearing is finished.

And the seven judges have reserved judgement - as anticipated.

Following verbal jousting - between prosecution and defense attorneys - about the validity of the jury verdict.

Pell didn't attend - and remains in a high security prison, near Melbourne.

No timescale exists for the final appeal verdict.


Many in Australia feel that the Cardinal will walk free.

On the 'one man's word against another' logic...
