Barney A sight that nobody ever thought possible - yet likely soon.

Catholic priests looking in the windows of confessors' homes - when hearing confessions on mobile phones - so that eye contact can be achieved, whilst social distancing!

Neighbourhood Watch will have to be advised of this new phenomenon, so that these window peepers are not arrested.


Presumably the next step will be - if the priest's phone is busy - Catholics will confess their sins after the beep!

Then receive absolution by text message...

Because of coronavirus regulations - particularly the requirement for social distancing.

However - this highly private procedure can only occur, on one condition.


Priest and confessor must be within sight of each other...
