DJones But it has a certain logic: Didn't Blair style "New Labour" after Thatcher's Tories?
steveimp I can't understand the Tories. They are effectively re-creating "New Labour" prior to 1997 yet it's been shown that the country is crying out for something entirely different. Turning Cameron into Blair Mark 2 isn't going to get him elected, neither are soundbytes about "getting rid of Grammar Schools" where I think a lot of parents would love to send their kids to if they are good enough for it!

A comprehensive education did me in intellectually and it took many many years out of it to actually learn anything!
JK2006 Yes that's a good move for Cameron - honesty, openness, decency...

NOT!
In The Know Former Screws of the World editor Andy Coulson is to be the new communications director for the Tory Party !

Coulson left his job when one of his reporters was convicted of bugging royal telephones back in January.

I wonder what special "skills" he brings to the Tories?
