Barney Mainly used to treat malaria, reumathoid arthritis etc.

This drug is having some good results treating coronavirus.

In the USA mostly, and India - which is the biggest manufacturer.

No meaningful clinical trials have yet been undertaken, and the evidence is largely anecdotal.


However, its supporters include Trump - who is advocating urgent investigation and analyses.

In the hope that the drug may prove to be a stepping stone towards a coronavirus vaccine.
