After reading the The Nicholas Cases: Casualties of Justice and Sion Jenkins book. I still have no idea if Sion did the murder or not.

I was in Hastings in the early 2000s for a little holiday. I can say Hastings does have some very odd and interesting characters.

I was in a pub with a mate and over heard a conversation about the case. Me and my mate, couldn't help but just carry on hearing their conversations and join their table to talk about it.

They did clarify there was a strange Hastings resident who loved plastic bags and "got off to them". However Sion, was also a "control freak" and a "very odd teacher". Was Sion trying frame him ?

A lady on the same table told us that Sion could be "creepy in the classroom" and "some residents said Sion and Billie looked unnaturally close together when they were about".

Also there an old lady who walked with a pram with a lots dolls inside of the pram.
It's a very sad story, what they told me you couldn't help shredding a tear, losing kids in a house fire.
They said she might know the bloke who loved the plastic bags, but apparently she gone to a better place. She might of been worth questioning perhaps ?

The Jenkins' house apparently had little to none security, their garden fences and gates were low and were easily accessible.

That could put "Mr B" in the frame and putting plastic bag up her nose, but again Sion probably wanted to blame the local "whino".

Now, when I was in prison most prison wife's stand by their men and I have seen the toughest of men cry. When they received heart felt letters from home, or when they got released and their children are waiting for them and then are telling their dad off.

Sion ex and children deserted him - to me sound's like an alarm bell but it's only my theory.

The case needs reopening in my opinion.
