Barney Funerals in New York City have also become very problematical - with mourners insisting on turning up to pay their respects.

Orthodox Jews, particularly, have been seen to flaunt lockdown regulations - as they honour deceased rabbis etc. - almost on a daily basis.

Police have been busy at Jewish funerals, often attempting to disperse them - adding to the growing social unrest in NYC.

Brooklyn has the major problem with funerals. And - on at least one occasion - water cannon was used control large numbers of attendees.


Local authorities are said to be considering banning all funerals - held in public.

Barney In New York City - there have been 18,000 coronovirus deaths, since March.

Cremations and burials are now totally backed up - with funeral homes and cemeteries unable to cope.


Refrigerated vans are being used to store bodies - and, in Brooklyn over the past couple of days - ordinary trucks were utilised.

With many residents complaining of odours from the trucks - and some undertaker businesses cited.


Central Park is now partially tented to cater for coronavirus victims - and NYC, being so small in acreage terms, is coming under severe pressure.


Federal and military assistance is becoming very likely - as NYC's high population density has helped the coronavirus to spread quickly, around the five boroughs.
