Because most of us 'dumbs' consider almost 4 million coronavirus infections - and 260,000 very unpleasant deaths, in 20 weeks and every country - to be decidedly untrivial?

JK2006 Like every other viewer wyot, that's what I assumed. Barney is on Planet Dumb.
wyot I meant we are bored of Covid as a subject Barney, not that we have to be personally bored as in lockdown...

But yes I agree that it is an opp to get creative/productive and re evaluate priorities...that is a big positive.

I know we are all thoroughly bored

Not an astute observation - or an accurate one.

This enforced sojourn has allowed some of us to do so many things, that we've long been meaning to.

From getting fit, rediscovering recipes/food - to reading the books we've meant to.

And from clearing out the kitchen/office drawer - to getting in touch (at last) with very old friend Nigel.

Most importantly - having the time to stand and stare.

Instead of enduring the joys of the Gatwick Express

- and the race that the rats are winning...
