I'm still enjoying Masterchef, and especially celebrity masterchef after 15 years in its current format with John and Gregg, not including the original format with Lloyd Grossman who presented the first 10 series.

When I saw the celebrity list for this series, my heart sank, but it has been surprisingly enjoyable. Phil Daniels and Dominic Littlewood have been very entertaining and great cooks. Phil really is too underused as an actor, he should be a much bigger star than he is.

Phil Daniels has an incredible presence on film, however I get the feeling his playing himself. His band The Cross should of been big.

When people talk about Morgan Freeman they love his voice but find his acting wooden.

Yes, he is playing himself to a large degree, although you could say the same for Hugh Grant and Bob Hoskins. I guess this is one of the problems of been involved with such as cult film as Quadrophenia early in your career. You become so associated with that character, people can't see you as anything else. He virtually disappeared in the 80s and early 90s, but had a bit of a renaiassance in the mid-90s thanks to appearing in Blur's Parklife video, and performing on the song. He's looking fit and well and I'm rooting for him to win.
