Jo It is ridiculous to dredge up something from years ago that the audience clearly found funny. Maybe they should all be rounded up. And I can see that the article could make him vulnerable to false allegations.
Honey First he is torn apart by (permanently cross) Jack Monroe because she didn't approve of the content of his books, and her small boy had read lots of them.
(I am willing to bet that her child will not grow up to be a fat shaming-poor-bashing-misogynist, despite his reading material)

Now "they" are calling him inappropriate and unacceptable for a stage act from donkeys years ago.

Hundreds of people "accepted" it enough to buy tickets, and if "they" objected they should have said something at the time.

I think this is all not very subtle fishing for false allegations.
