However staff got redundancy pay. I see in the upcoming weeks and think about my other button in NI. I might have to move to the West Country.

middlemas	Republic's draconian lockdown bears comparison with that of its close neighbour, the UK's Northern Ireland. In NI, people can still go shopping, to the gym/church, travel about etc. But not in the Republic. Completely different countries with no physical border - so many from the south will just drive a few miles, for shopping etc. A foretaste of the future when Brexit is concluded and there are two totally different markets, literally within sight of each other. Smuggling will again become big business - as both jurisdictions will have very different price structures, for goods and services.
