let's try and enjoy our lockdown days as much as possible!

Yes - as we don't have much choice

And you're right - Netflix is no solution

It's simple really. Do your shopping during your walk - and chill, whilst reading and watching Netflix/Prime.

I don't know your personal circumstances Middlemas, but in your self contentment you sound low risk for lockdown.

Tens of millions are medium/high risk for lockdown: unemployment, missing mortgage payments, rents, homelessness, feeding children well, deteriorating mental health, self harm, spousal violence etc.

For them it is not "simple" at all and "chilling" to Netflix is no solution.

Might have done. A lockdown might also have caused more lives to be lost than it saved. Both of these things can be true at the same time.

Lockdown would of have prevented suicides and booze is never good to drink when down in the dumps; I have seen it too many to times.

However, significantly - diabetics are not in the official/higher vulnerability category.

The category in which supplies are delivered, and health priorities extended. Diabetics' immunity systems are weaker too.
