Honey I think we are missing the point by focusing on it being either a trivial virus or a deadly threat.
(I think both are true)

The advice/rules would still be a ridiculous load of bollocky nonsense either way, and there would still be what appears to be corruption and exploitation, and we would still be losing our liberties hour by hour.

The virus itself is the least of our worries.
JK2006 Worth reading. I don't agree with much (even he rejects "hoax") but he's right about a lot. I personally blame simplification (the curse of the century) combined with media hype. Put those two sisters together; you get tabloid headlines. Everyone obeys.
