De Bruyne - probably the best player, still playing.
Zidane - the best player/manager ever?
Won everything almost - La Liga, Champions League, World Cup etc, |

Yes, a few more are joining the small club.
It's difficult though to argue against Pele as being the best - and only winner of three World Cups.
Missing out only here, in 1966. When (before the red/yellow card era), he was brutally fouled - more like physically assaulted, on numerous occasions - by Bulgarian and Portuguese defenders.
Pele was magnificent in the air, and had two feet!
Scoring 541 goals in 560 top class appearances - and 1,279 in 1,363 games overall.
Nobody has come close to his trophy cabinet or goal tally. |

Undoubtedly, a flawed genius - like so many.
But a member of the Greatest Player Ever Club.
With Messi (also of Argentinia) and Pele (Brazil).
As well as the Europeans - Cruyff (Holland) and Ronaldo (Portugal). |

You having a moment GM - how is this linked to Maradona!?
I think C19 has clearly shown us that we need to stop eating so much and so much rubbish - if there was no obesity in the UK, I bet the death toll would be MUCH lower.
You are right it was another thread.
However I never saw Maradona in good health he was stoned, fat, diet crashed fat again and stoned. |
