Rambo on the West End would be interesting?
I don't understand why anyone would settle for a musical, when so many wonderful operas are available? But apparantly I can be a tad "elitist" about such things.
Anyway would stay and argue the point, but I just have a few more pages of Ulysses to finish (again...)
I was looking at bookshelf and I was looking at the books I read when I was in my teens my favourite's were Biggles Billy Bunter and Three Investigators - which all three series might equal Ulysses in pagination.
Despite being slightly dated I did enjoy reading Three Investigators during lockdown.
How old are you, Green Man? Even I was too young for Biggles and Bunter.

Some years ago my mother, one memorable Christmas lunch, solemnly announced to the table (which numbered my then new girlfriend), as she produced a plate of "pigs in blankets" and Cats the musical was being discussed: "*Wyot* was a right tom cat when he was younger you know; but he's calmed down now, I think".
I do think the necessity for and timing of her disclosure could have benefitted from more consideration...
So you were like a bitch in heat that week.
I want to know why they think that Cats would on film - you wouldn't put Jason and the Argonauts on West End. |
