You're absolutely right Mal, as usual; neither Brexit nor Covid19 is trivial to some people. Neither is breaking a leg or crashing a car. Or catching a cold. |

Well 30,000 of our citizens aren't laughing - those who require life-maintaining dialysis, and don't know whether it's available now in EU countries.
So - to many, it's neither trivial or unimportant. Healthcare, business and travel are all affected - and there are numerous uncertainties relating to all. |

Brexit; it really makes me laugh. Media hyped "the EU could turn down the deal". That would be a great story. Everyone with a brain cell said "no, they will unanimously accept it" as they have. Why? Because it is a trivial, unimportant detail. There are FAR more important things than "should the UK drive on the right or the left?" - oops have I got that wrong? Just like Covid19; just because media inflates something doesn't change the reality. |
