Trump had no real reason to change numbers on the Supreme Court because basically, he didn't do anything they would need challenging there.
Plenty of top Democrats said they wanted the Supreme Court increased by as many as 6 new judges. Not really a lot considering their power.
Whether it happens and Biden wants to now is another thing.
Biden will do whatever Harris commands him to do. |

The Judiciary Act (aka Circuit Judges Act) 1869 - the last relevant legislation - stipulates that the Supreme Court has 9 judges.
Although I would assume that - with appropriate legislation (Congress and/or Senate) - the figure could be increased.
However, it's significant that even Trump didn't go the legal route - and waited until Ginsburg died before making his appointment. |

Attempts to increase the number have failed badly - most notably, FDR's effort to help his New Deal initiative.
So Biden will have to wait a while before making appointments - some Presidents were unable to make any.
No he only has to wait a few days with his inauguration on the 20th and until Congress sits again.

Apart from that, tradition has been turned on it's head by Donald Trump appointing of Supreme Court judges so close to an election, a controversy that raged for months, the Republicans refusal for over a year to consider Barack Obama's appointment of a judge and so on.
Biden has refused to state several times he would not increase numbers in the Supreme Court. Of course to do so, he might have to do it within 2 years. Probably why the current court members tread so warily.
I bet the Republicans whom voted to impeach Trump are part of the NWO ? |
