Netflix have replaced Hollywood, along with Disney, Amazon, Sony, Sky etc. - all based around Buckinghamshire in the UK. Making movies on locations all over the world and doing the interiors/editing at Pinewood, Shepparton etc.

Over 200 productions are made by Netflix every year - and they have 200m subscribers in 200 countries. Their income is more than Iceland's at $25b. The Dig didn't detail the find - which had swords and gold bracelets. Netflix @ £5.99 a month is a nobrainer.

I rather save my money thank you !

I don’t buy stuff that bows down to woke and political correctness.

Green Man I would never pay for Netflix the dirty bastards.

However I do remember reading about the dig in the late 90's. They mentioned the helmet a lot in the article - however didn't they find shields, weapons and other paraphernalia in pristine shape ?

Netflix is really coming into its own during this lockdown; The Dig is terrific. Ralph Fiennes and Carey Mulligan (who I first saw as my friend Lynn Barber in An Education). Thoroughly recommended.

Both lead actors are excellent in this true story of a pre-war Suffolk archaeological excavation. Well crafted, simple and thought provoking. Likely to win awards.
