I found his music to be good and again absolutely terrible - however he was an icon and made many people happy with simply songs in country. He certainly had decent voice but talk about corny lyrics. I have few of his LP's which I got in bulk recently. Ended throwing about 400 and kept about 40 of them - what else was I supposed do with them ? I not going to listen to Harry Secombe, Bilk and Val Doonican albums.

I am bit sad that Sydney didn't get the send-off he deserved nor what he family wanted.
