Wyot	Very well observed Kantilever and - goes without saying - I for one totally agree. The blindness to this situation is breathtaking at times.
Kantilever	This post is not at all intended to be anti-vaccine, but I wanted to point out a glorious contradiction in how our dear government attributes deaths after vaccination: Events with a fatal outcome Vaccination and surveillance of large populations means that, by chance, some people will experience and report a new illness or events in the days and weeks after vaccination. A high proportion of people vaccinated in the vaccination campaign so far are very elderly, many of whom will also have pre-existing medical conditions. Older age and chronic underlying illnesses make it more likely that coincidental adverse events will occur, especially given the millions of people vaccinated. It is therefore important that we carefully review these reports to distinguish possible side effects from illness that would have occurred irrespective of vaccination. You couldn't make it up! How about doing this same "careful distinction" when the same group of people die "from" covid (or just - supposedly - infected "with" it? www.gov.uk/government/publications/coron...ellow-card-reporting
