I'm sure some issues will be smoothed over in time; but I can't see any reason why we have done this to ourselves. What have we gained? I know we disagree on Covid but this is also another political aspect of that situation: it is very handy to blame for many ills for years to come....
Margrave Apart from the shipping and transportation problems mentioned in the three links - there have been others.

Financial Services

Not covered by the Brexit agreement. Already Euro 6 billion in daily City of London trades has been lost to Amsterdam and Paris - in the Euro dominated market.

Food

Meat, cheese and fish have rotted at ports - because of the extra documentation now required. Health Certificates - now mandatory - are often unavailable.

Internet Purchases

This has been haphazard overall with VAT often being applied on purchases from EU countries - without notice or agreement - and from here to the EU.

Wyot UK exports down 40%. Watch the liars blame a certain virus when it is all down to pointless, stupid Brexit.
