chrissy So we can expect to see Jeff Lynne hauled before the courts very soon. LOL.
Anthony It never ceases to disturb me how many people are consumed with such hatred, which they don't even have the intelligence to express adequately.

The whole paedophilia issue created by the media gives them a tailor made outlet. No-one would want to defend child abuse, so they feel they are onto a winner. Remember the Brass Eye spoof documentary, which dealt with the issue brilliantly, attracting the predicted wave of self-righteous indignation?

The sad consequence of all this is that misinformed, basically decent parents are terrified to let their children live a normal life for fear of all the monsters they believe are lurking on every street corner. Realistically I suspect the probability of their children being struck by lightning is greater.
JK2006 My favourite comment so far (deleted of course) has been on the You Tube video for my version of Jeff Lynne's wonderful I Can't Get It Out Of My Head - someone ranting on, punch drunk, about how this song is obviously all about abusing children!

Tunnel vision is a fascinating if frightening thing.
Mart Interesting that the journalists and correspondents, who I would like to have credited with more sense fell straight into a hole of their own creation.

They completely missed the point of the track, which ,lets face it, does not appear to be designed as a single anyway, and the minions sadly followed the view.

One wonders how many people are wrongly looking in amongst cd racks under "singles", in the megastores this morning for it.
JK2006 Literally hundreds of You Tube, My Space and other online comments inspired by the Shipman coverage.
As the day turns into night and they come out of the pubs, the obscenities increase, the spelling gets worse, the insults more brain dead.

It's actually like watching one of those punch drunk boxers. The brains, small at the best of times, stop functioning except for instinct!

A revealing insight to the zombies.

And, as expected, about 10% are from normal people inspired to think and amazed by the expression of a challenging idea.

Not all of them like the track but they are prepared to see the reality.

Which was what I anticipated.
