hedda Howls of outrage and I'm sure Wimmins & Feminazis are frothing at the mouth ( as opposed to genuine Feminists like Germaine Greer who thinks "victim anonymity" is ridiculous as it implies shame)

French mayor convicted of rape runs his town from prison
Draveil, France: When the mayor of this Paris suburb was convicted in February of rape and sexual assault and sentenced to five years in prison, France’s MeToo movement claimed a victory.
Georges Tron had once been a government minister. Activists hoped his downfall and imprisonment would send a powerful message to others guilty of similar crimes

Decades ago (maybe 1930s) I had a very good Danish pal who decided to rob a bank. He rented a room opposite a bank and propped a store dunmmy in a window holding a broom handle & rang the bank manager & said:
" I have a sniper directly opposite who will shoot a customer if you don't hand over a bag full of cash"

The manager looked out his window and replied:
"unfortunately your sniper has just collapsed onto the floor"

He got 4 years & while in prison was, as per normal practice encouraged to work on an occupation for when he got out of prison & even allowed to set up a company, work on details & so forth. He did so & became one of Sweden's biggest video importers over the following decades.
