This is partly our fault as the majority are demanding they do something. They do a lot of stuff I suspect aware (or deliberately not questioning) whether it serves any point or makes sense. It leads to absurdities and as you say can actually make the situation worse.

Wyot	Help! I am genuinely bewildered as to why we have amber travel destinations? They are legal to travel to but Boris says you shouldn't travel to them. Why not? I had a look at new infection levels in Spain and they are about the the same as the UK. I don't understand how me travelling to Barcelona over London tomorrow would pose any more risk to the people of the UK on my return. There may have been a point to all this in March 20 but they allowed Covid to rip through the country then - bit late now! Does anyone know what this traffic light system is supposed to achieve?!
