Because their only interest is profit.

Once upon a time, but when there are only supermarkets and nowhere else to buy food they can sell what they like and charge what they like.

Mini-marts and service stations comes to mind.

Okay, so long as my Covid passport is up to date and I am allowed to leave my house, GM & Honey the day I can't buy lamb instead of tarantula at Waitrose, I will treat you both to lunch - earwig baguettes?

There are still Covid passports in place still at some establishments in USA Wyot. I will bet that electric cars will automatically switch off if you have used it too much, gone too far or entered a place where they don't want you to visit. I bet car rentals will programme their cars, so you don't go to ghettos with it.
JK2006 I have no problem eating insects just as I'm happy to eat meat. But I have certain personal likes or dislikes. And, like all individuals, some things are good for me and others are bad. It's why I cannot understand cults like Vegans. Milk and Honey may be bad for one yet great for another. Likewise, I'm not able to put values on life - a chicken vs a carrot - and can't understand how Vegans and Veggies can. Morally I suppose they are the Moonies, Scientologists, Muslims or Christians of diet.
