Wyot I suspect he had had enough...He didn't need to resign because of hypocrisy, contract sleaze or an affair - all are acceptable to the electorate these days, at least at the bottom line of still voting for them.
JK2006 Never liked him; hate the way he always makes sure he tells us how wonderful we all are. But I don't care who he loves or kisses. And I don't think someone needs to resign because the media tells them to. He was useless. As Boris is. But the media is the real villain in the Covid fiasco. A good story was all that mattered.
