Infections down for the 4th day in a row. This reflects pre restriction-lift infection levels, as it is too soon for the restriction-lifting to have had an effect on infection levels.

So, by pure chance we have lifted the restrictions at a point where infections were starting to level off naturally.

If we had lifted restrictions with infections still rising and they continued to rise, we would not have been able to discern the effect restrictions were having on infection levels either way.

Now, though, if infections DON'T rise exponentially in the next week or two (from a baseline where they were starting for the first time in weeks to naturally level off) we can establish that retrictions were having NO effect on infection levels.
