hedda This happened when I was running a shop on Kings Road not too far from the murder.

It was absolutely riveting. The atmosphere even in the streets was electric.

Few years ago I had lots of dealings with actor Cary Elwes and his producer brother Cassian.

I always wanted to ask them..but of course I couldn't being such a polite person ..more of the history of their father Dominic Elwes who was reputed to be Lord Lucan's lover at Eton.

Dominic was given the task of the liaising with the media by Lucan's pals including Jimmy Goldsmith but they perceived he stuffed it up and he was subsequently frozen out by them and killed himself.

## I still think the most credible theory is Lucan was spirited off to a Swiss Chalet for a few months to cool his heels but then went a bit loopy and said he wanted to return to the UK and defend himself. Which of course meant serious problems for those who aided him.

A small boat was sent to bring him across the Channel where he met a sudden demise halfway (bullet)
JK2006 In fact more revealing than the drama. She was enormously attractive as a young lady. But strangely cold. I could see how she must have driven Lucan mad. No excuse, mind you.
