Green Man You can kill someone with a wooden chip fork, HB pencil or even a writing pen.

Hitting someone in the temple with right velocity will kill anyone.
Wyot Well the manslaughter rather than murder charge means they are not treating her as if she intended to kill. But yes, you would hope common sense is used in sentencing. What would prison achieve? She isn't dangerous at all...

I once very nearly caused serious injury by lobbing a Babybel to a colleague who was leaning against a glass door.
By some fluke, the door withstood the pressure of him against it, but not the hit from a small flying cheese, and the glass completely shattered.
