JK2006 But am I wrong to suspect the Couzens publicity has provoked more exaggeration or invention? We won't know the facts until the trial - if then - but there's no surprise that media publicity provokes allegations, be they true, false or, as I'm certain in most cases, exaggerated? Put a teacher on the front pages and a hundred other "victims" will emerge (all denying that they want to make a penny in compensation until after any trials when you can guarantee they kick in demanding vast sums). If the law was changed that the only compensation would be paid to doctors treating the effects and you'd see the amount of claims drop to nearly nothing.
