I can't see how she is so popular - maybe millions of people do actually love being depressed.

How many more songs she sing about break up with an ex ? It's like the demented ex- girlfriend who bombards you with visits or calls just to insults you and your new girlfriend. Yet she can't stop going on about you to her friends or family behind closed doors.

Green Man Recording in black and white is so overdone now.
JK2006 Interesting; how Adele has re-invented herself; lost weight, been styled, now looks gorgeous. Obviously was unhappy with the old Adele. But I think it's sad. By conforming to the general image of how she OUGHT to be, she's lost all her Adele (which includes songwriting and performing talent - I don't like the new squealed single).

It's like when poor, talented people become rich, untalented ones.

I remember in the 60s; so many of my talented friends in music lost it in the 70s. They FOUND fame, money, drugs, families... but lost musical creativity.
