I don't have a lot of sympathy for her. We are two years into the farce, so she should have had back up plans and got things ready in good time allowing for slip ups, like everyone else is doing!

Do you think she was so busy forcing her audience to be jabbed that she forgot to mention it to her crew, causing half of them to be off sick with covid, or could it be that the vaccines don't stop transmission and she was talking shite?

Anyway, the show must go on. All she needed was the music and a microphone. If people can get a medical treatment they might not want, and fly across the world to see her, the least she could do is provide an "unplugged" version.

There are hundreds of venues in USA they don't require vaccines, passports or social distancing.

JK2006 You see the ramifications echo onwards. A trivial virus starts two years ago in Wuhan, China. It becomes clear that it is a new variant of Coronavirus and, as such, can be lethal to the vulnerable. Very soon it is realised that like a new FLU variant, if you are old or diabetic (and fairly soon - obese or a smoker) or have any respiratory or heart problems, take care - avoid contact. But the media, in need of a good story (Brexit over; Royals boring) inflated it, exaggerated it, coloured it. It's what media does (we are ALL now in media - social or traditional). The mistake was that Governments believed the hype and over reacted. From total shut down (China, New Zealand) to urgent laws (South Korea) to belated hysteria (Europe), instead of a sensible, measured approach (Sweden - if only they had also protected and treated Care Home residents), humanity over reacted.

So a trivial virus which killed a few million globally (most of whom were near death anyway) became a killer plague, with consequential tragic effects.

Including artistes, shows, films, concerts getting cancelled at the last moment. Like Adele - only the latest to suffer.

We don't behave like this when somebody gets a cold or flu. Especially when there are now vaccines (found within weeks - a clue as to how trivial Covid19 was). But colds and flu never got the media treatment.

I remind you of the 3 months "wrong flu vaccine" in 2017-2018. 50,000 extra deaths in England & Wales alone, from flu. That's 200,000 a year. No panic.

Poor Adele. Poor West End and Broadway. Poor world. The ramifications of media induced PANIC.
