More on JK'S "news people" who love to play games with words.

If a 17 year old committed a crime he would be an accused "young man", as an alleged victim he's a "17 year old boy".

And the Old Bill plays games as well.. why would a "child sex unit" investigate these allegations when no child is involved and those making the claims are clearly adults (16 being legal in Oz)

A case is built in incremental steps and the media helps.

And while all I know of this is what I read today..horrific that this MP's colleagues want to boot him from Parliament when he's still innocent & it probably deprives him of the funds to defend himself.

Yet again..just allegations bring punishment long before a case reaches the courts.
