There are rumours The Reckoning will be aired in 2024. Basically it has it's in the can and shelved indefinitely.
However Coogan, has picked up a nice pay cheque and if there are any liars they have got money for old rope. It's a win-win already. It will be forgotten about soon.
If Netflix do make a Glitter documentary, my theory is he blew his chance to be released on purpose; he is safer in the joint and has probably made a network of good friends.
What is there for him in the outside world apart from a weekly pension? It's not like he could he go in to obscurity. |

Netflix seems to have an obsession with sex offenders even some of their content has made not to subscribe like their questionable Cuties film, which did cause an exodus of subscribers.
I did see the Netflix Jimmy Savile documentary at a friends house, it was nothing special nor was it anything new. Most of it was covered on Discovery documentaries and ITV Exposure.
Now Netflix want to do a Gary Glitter documentary. I hope they don't mention the Glitter Band they are the innocent party and a lot of the original members are deceased, also they were only with GG briefly. John Rossall also feel out with Glitter prior his conviction, he is on the songs on sax/trombone because Mike Leander couldn't play that instrument.
John Rossall, Harvey and Gerry all died from cancer.
John Springate, is now happily married and recording and releasing albums independently. He might still do the odd gig here and there. However The Glitter Band official website is now shut down. Maybe Cherry Red will release a Boston Show Band compilation.
