Wyot Very well put. And additionally it won't help us in anyway; it will just further destabilise and atomise the world. All sorts of trouble in all sorts of ways will come our way as way as result. You can call it karma, but it is just the logical outcome of brutalising and exacerbating the differences between people rather than celebrating our commonality. It is not only morally abhorrent, it is stupid.
JK2006 80 years ago we Brits fought the appalling Nazis. We won; we beat them. Germans learned the lesson. They are now a far more civilised and decent country than we are. Sometimes winning is losing.
JK2006 Dr Waheed Arian - superb on BBC Breakfast. I'd never heard of him before. Full of admiration for him. We need more Arians and fewer Johnsons and Patels. And Starmers and Daveys if you think I'm just anti-Tory.
JK2006 Your plan to ship immigrants to Rwanda stinks. It is, in my opinion, as bad as allowing them to drown in the Channel. Essentially it is a mirror of the Nazi concentration camps where Jews, Gypsies and Gays were sent for extermination. I simply cannot believe that humanity has stooped so low (it's not just the UK - it seems to be Denmark too). Instead of supporting, welcoming and assisting immigrants we are saying "Not in my backyard". In my opinion every single death of anybody trying to enter the UK is a Karma black mark on every human being in Britain but especially our Prime Minister and Home Secretary who are exactly as guilty of murder as the loony who killed David Amess. They may have better excuses (they didn't actually use knives) and may be able to blame others (people smugglers?) but to me the blood on their hands warrants life in prison. Which, I'll bet you, Karma will make sure they get.
