JK2006 Went to this last night; have always wanted to see it; adore Rylance. But I was disappointed. Loved Act One - very funny, very well written. Thought Act Two should have been the last act, perhaps halved in length with half Act Three added, and started to get bored when the mood changed and it became more "significant" and "dramatic" and less funny. Act Three was far too long. The point could have been made in 15 minutes but it took another hour. Jerusalem started at 7.30 - it was almost 11 when it ended. Also - the world has moved on and Rylance's performance is rather shadowed by his similar one in The BFG as well as mirrored by his Giant story. Theatre absolutely packed - not a seat available for the 16 week run. Wonderful to attend another crammed auditorium (great audience by the way). I'm afraid my conclusion is - over rated.
