robbiex Just seen the final on catch up. Dissapointed that Jabeur didn't win, such a lovely person and an inspiration. I hadn't heard of her 3 weeks ago before Eastbourne, but now JK and I are both big fans.
The irony here is that despite Wimbledon banning Russian and Belarussian players a player born in Russia and still living in Russia, but representing Kazachstan won the tournament, and when she won she didn't seem that bothered. She barely cracked a smile and looked as though she could take it or leave it. Mcenroe was brave enough to point out that she is Russian and the irony of the ban Russians rule. All that is left now is to get behind Djokovic, who I'm not a big fan of (boring boring), but anything is better than the thuggish Kyrios winning, and I would bet my house on it.
