JK2006 The Walking Dead is magnificent; and amazingly topical, about a suicide bomber in Britain.

I'm a huge fan of Gerry's (he used to be my Mum's gardener whilst he was in college) and I think he's the best living British thriller writer alongside John Le Carre.

Every detail, nuance, thought process, religious trait is researched and, I'm sure, accurately depicted.

I've been reading this throughout my last holiday, Mother's illness and death, cremation and since - so it's taken me 2 months, but it was well worth it.

Sensational. It's time they Booker listed him.
