Green Man I had to laugh when reading this but not in a good way. Sales jobs are not a proper jobs especially if it's done by commission unless you are great at it and I mean like a used cars salesman. Remember people don't buy things from strangers especially cold callers.

I haven't had a salesman knock round in years when I did, he was selling frozen fish at a hefty price more than a supermarket and I tried to explain that there is a lot people who do trout fishing around here. Meaning you can take them home what you catch.

I miss the days when salesman tried to sell you encyclopaedias in volumes meaning you had spend hundreds if not thousands to get the full set or I remember the 'video man' he sold and rented VHS tapes from a van with small amount to choose from. He only lasted a few months then he packed it in.
