Wyot Interesting, that perhaps he was too decent a human to grip the nasty party...

My own take on Boris' achievements is different as I don't accept that he was successful on Brexit, Covid or Ukraine.

Brexit: it is abundantly (and objectively) clear it has brought no benefits and continues to inflict harm.

Covid: yes a level of success on vaccines (nothing really to do with him though...), but panicked, over reacted and inflicted unnecessary deaths and vast economic harm on the country through multiple lockdowns.

Ukraine: Continues to allie us four square with the US to what ultimate end beyond posturing I have no idea. What has Ukraine to do with us?

No achievements at all (apart from with many others cheapening public life and office) so far as I can see.
