robbiex There are only so many Halloween-based characters that people recognize. I think Nikita and Ellie doing Thelma and Shaggy from Scooby Doo was a great idea, but there was very little dancing going on. It was more acting than dancing. Tony did a good dance, but the character choice was wrong, you couldn't see his expressions due to the heavy makeup, and thus was less entertaining. Motsi and Craig on the judging desk looked frankly bizarre, and what does a pirate have to do with Halloween? I think Tony and Katya are the most entertaining couple. In my opinion, Katya is the best professional dancer, not just in terms of ability, but personality and looks. Thank god Strictly didn't follow in the footsteps of Wimbledon and Eurovision and ban Russians.
JK2006 Was it just me or have I seen this show before? I suppose there's only so much different you can do each year.
