JK2006 My choices only have any kind of "football" reasons or knowledge in supporting BELGIUM; because I think De Bruyne is the best player in the world - not going for selfish scoring but for incredible team playing. His passes and intelligence are extraordinary. Watch him carry little Belgium to the cup (I hope and expect - £100 at 16-1).
JK2006 I don't know how or why the other World Cup thread got diverted into the question of eating meat (or not) but I'm now rooting for FOUR teams.
Belgium should win (De Bruyne) but I've also got a MOROCCO supporting shirt.
And along with England I must root for Wales (they are, at the moment, part of the UK. I'd also through gritted teeth be supporting silly Scotland if it was in there and enthusiastically Northern Ireland which I love.
My backup fifth team? Tunisia, of course.
