Absolutely love the country pretty much for the same reasons JK likes Morocco..love Arab people.
The country has opened up now well and truly for tourism..in my day there was one hotel with starring acts like Harry Secombe.
The British are such piss pots.
I feel sorry, for the partners of football fans and the innocent. Fans will take out their frustration on their partners or on a random fella in a pub or street, because a team lost.
I don't have a TV plugged in to an aerial and I will be at work. So, I have great excuses for not watching soccer nor do I have to respond to the damn question "Did you see the game last night?"
I don't many Arabs, but I do know some Sikhs Hedda. Great people with a superb sense of humour.
Do you know any Arabs who will do a trade for my partner in exchange for a rug or a camel?
The local Oz Sikh community have been wonderful during bush fires and floods feeding 10,000s of homeless people.
No Arab will swap a carpet for your missus but as they are incredibly hospitable they are likely to gift you a carpet from their home if you admire it.
Good manners would dictate that if someone admires your missus you will gift her to them.
Whoosh. |
